Energy "Q"™ EXCEL is paper thin tri-laminated material consisting of two sheets of highly polished, ninety-nine percent (99%) pure industrial aluminum with a polyethylene flame retardant sheet inserted at the core, creating a thermal break between the aluminum sheets. A variety of roll sizes are available with a width most common measuring 4 feet wide by 250 feet in length (1000 sq. ft.) and weighing approximately 21 to 31 pounds. The Excel is reinforced with polyester nylon scrim for increased strength with 97% reflectivity and 3% emittance value. This product is available in both perforated (too alleviate condensation and allows the product to breathe) and non-perforated (for use as vapor barriers) configurations.
