Energy "Q"™ Excel Material is stapled over the existing insulation to all interior walls that have exterior exposure. Holes are cut out for electrical outlets and any other objects that must be exposed. Excel material is then stapled across the entire ceiling that has outside or attic exposure. Holes are also cut around anything that needs to be exposed.

When the installation is complete, the interior of the house will be completely wrapped in Energy "Q"™ Excel. This application creates a "thermos" type effect in the home and ensures minimal heat transfer throughout the home. This is the most effective way our radiant barrier material can be used.
